About pensitivity101
I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
Neat photos of the animals and your moon photos come out so good! π
The zoom on my camera is brilliant.
A crescent moon is very hard to capture. Good work.
Thanks Judy. We get some beautiful Lincolnshire skies.
Ha! I just finished my post and it is quite similar. It posts tomorrow AM my time.
Great minds and all. π
Thanks Dawn. Your photography is stunning.
Lovely shots Di
Thank you.
My pleasure
All great photos, but (probably no surprise) Maggie stole the show 100% I love those first two photos. Our dogs always took over the furniture.

We still miss her Dan. It’s been over four years now, but we are so glad to have Maya, totally different and has made her own place in our hearts.
It’s the same here. We miss Maddie, but we haven’t tried to find another. Saying goodbye was too hard.
I know, and I am so sorry for your loss. I said no more dogs, but after 3 months my husband said I was useless without one so we started looking. I wanted a shepherd this time as they are my favourite breed, but it still took us a year to find her. She was worth it though.
I’m happy for you. I’m not ruling it out. We had four over the course of 40 years, and a bunch of cats.
I’ve always had a dog though there was a family cat when I was a kid. Maya is hard work as she’s so strong, but there are so many pluses, it makes it all worthwhile.

So lovely to see Maggie again π
She’s never far. I have a small throw with her photo on it over my feet at night, she is my desktop wallpaper and of course my avatar picture. She would have been 20 last month! Maya’s image is on my phone.
So beautifulπππ
Wonderful photos especially of Maggie!
We miss her Val.
πΎπΎπππΎπΎ She was special!
Very much so, but Maya has her moments. We were proud of her yesterday in the restaurant (lots of dogs and she never made a fuss) and also today when we were out.
Maya is such a smart girl!!
She is indeed.
Great pics Di! π sweet Maggie, cherished memories!
We miss her Carol Anne, even though we have Maya who has made her own place in our hearts.
