Welcome to Share your World.
There are two ways in which you can participate:
Leave your answers to this week’s questions in the comments box below or create your own post.
To make it easy for others to check out your post, title your blog post “Share Your World” and link it to this one.
Ping-backs are activated, but don’t always work properly.
To play safe, leave a link in a comment, just to be sure or if you prefer, leave just the link if you don’t have anything else to chat about.
Instructions on how ping-backs work are found by clicking here. Thanks!
Melanie always included an optional gratitude section at the end and I see no reason to change that.
Here are my questions today:
1. Do you celebrate the Easter holiday and if not, do you have an alternative?
2. Do you exchange gifts or have a traditional meal?
3. How many Easter Eggs (or alternative) did your receive/give?
4. Was Easter a Bank Holiday in your country or did you have to work this weekend?
Gratitude:
There are only 24 hours in a day…….. don’t waste any as they cannot be replaced.

About pensitivity101
I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
Since we don’t celebrate Easter or any other festival of this kind, my answer to all the questions would be a no.
Thanks for your response Sadje.
My pleasure

1. Do you celebrate the Easter holiday and if not, do you have an alternative? – It was more or less a normal weekend for Easter this year, except we couldn’t go to the Easter Monday football match because my brother’s car over-heated on Saturday!
2. Do you exchange gifts or have a traditional meal? – Never had a traditional meal but did used to exchange Easter eggs.
3. How many Easter Eggs (or alternative) did your receive/give? – Umm? This year, none.
4. Was Easter a Bank Holiday in your country or did you have to work this weekend? – Bank Holiday
Thanks Glyn. We gave no cards or eggs, but received Easter gifts from our neighbour and Hubby bought some Ferrero Rocher for me.

Or, as my tee-shirt says, “Life is short. Eat dessert first.”
Haha! I want one!!!
It’s a classic.
We do Easter and Passover.
We exchange headaches. The kids scream because they’ve had too much candy and the adults scream because they haven’t had enough.
I got one egg. I gave it to my bff’s ex bf who was dragged with her. He was busy dancing and missed the Easter egg hunt. He got a little plastic dinosaur and was thrilled lol.
I had off because I make sure to keep weekends free. Off from work, not off from aunting, sistering or daughtering, all of which more than made up for me thinking about having two days off.
Thanks Marla. Know what you mean about exchanging headaches and too much candy.
I think after you hit like 10, you understand exchanging headaches better than you ever thought imaginable lol
