That lost hour…………….

Yep, the clocks went forward here in the UK last night. Hubby and I adjusted all of the manual tickers around 7.30 (real time) last night so we went to be around ’10’.
Maya slept through until 7 o’clock and I went back to sleep until just after 8.
The morning has been ‘odd’ as Hubby took the dog for a walk while I did the housework, and then suddenly it was 11 am and time to think about lunch. We had chilli today and as always there is enough for tomorrow plus a portion for our friend who we are taking to the surgery to have her foot dressed first thing in the morning.
The afternoon has been spent making cards, and in total I made 14. I haven’t sorted the pictures out yet so they will be in a separate post if they’re any good.
Suddenly though it’s nearly 7pm and the day has just whizzed by.
I have only just logged into my blog so will be playing catch up after approving pingbacks and responding to comments.Β  At least Maya isn’t confused by the ‘lost hour’.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Hehe! Mochi’s tummy alarm goes off on time – no matter what the clocks say! We “sprang ahead” a few weeks ago and we are just now getting used to it!

Although I was aware in the week of the changing of the clock, I forgot by the weekend. So it wasn’t until I got up and observed a manual clock, then observed my phone again that I was like, oh yes, the clocks changed.
It meant I officially had a lie in and thats before the clocks changed and so breakfast was soon to be lunch.
I still feel out of sync.

    • I did yesterday and the day seemed very odd and over very quickly. Maya slept through until 7am this morning, which was really 6am so I guess her body clock hasn’t adjusted. Suits me though!

I think Maya will need a new bed pretty soon!
I was in the company of five lovely ladies on Sunday. We had brunch arranged by the manager of the Red Cross charity shop. None of us were late πŸ™‚
