Yep, the clocks went forward here in the UK last night. Hubby and I adjusted all of the manual tickers around 7.30 (real time) last night so we went to be around ’10’.
Maya slept through until 7 o’clock and I went back to sleep until just after 8.
The morning has been ‘odd’ as Hubby took the dog for a walk while I did the housework, and then suddenly it was 11 am and time to think about lunch. We had chilli today and as always there is enough for tomorrow plus a portion for our friend who we are taking to the surgery to have her foot dressed first thing in the morning.
The afternoon has been spent making cards, and in total I made 14. I haven’t sorted the pictures out yet so they will be in a separate post if they’re any good.
Suddenly though it’s nearly 7pm and the day has just whizzed by.
I have only just logged into my blog so will be playing catch up after approving pingbacks and responding to comments.Β At least Maya isn’t confused by the ‘lost hour’.

Weβre still a couple of weeks π
She is such a pretty girl π€ this time that time change muddled me up quite badly π«£
It always confused the hell out of Maggie until we got the boat, then we were up with the sun and went to bed when it set, so it didn’t matter.
We are a bit all over the place with getting up so Sherky isn’t bothered. She now sleeps about 23 hours per day anyway ππ
Sometimes I wish Maya did!!!
She is young and needs the energy π€£ Sherky was more active when we got her too but she’ll be 7 in September and starts to be an old lady π₯°
Yes, Maya is still a puppy and will continue to be so for about another year. She is doing really well though and we are very proud of her.
I agree. I am always impressed with your accounts of her behavior. We have become a bit lazy with Sherkys training π«£
Thank you. We can’t let up at this stage, but make as much of her training a game as possible.
That makes sense π€
Hehe! Mochi’s tummy alarm goes off on time – no matter what the clocks say! We “sprang ahead” a few weeks ago and we are just now getting used to it!
Although I was aware in the week of the changing of the clock, I forgot by the weekend. So it wasn’t until I got up and observed a manual clock, then observed my phone again that I was like, oh yes, the clocks changed.
It meant I officially had a lie in and thats before the clocks changed and so breakfast was soon to be lunch.
I still feel out of sync.
I did yesterday and the day seemed very odd and over very quickly. Maya slept through until 7am this morning, which was really 6am so I guess her body clock hasn’t adjusted. Suits me though!
I think Maya will need a new bed pretty soon!
I was in the company of five lovely ladies on Sunday. We had brunch arranged by the manager of the Red Cross charity shop. None of us were late π
Hope you enjoyed you lunch. Maya has a big cushion, but prefers to sleep half off it at night!
