Snag List: Day 8

We have had a brilliant day today and several things have been ticked off the snag list.
Hubby has positioned the plinths which had to have 2mm shaved off them to take into account the new flooring. He just has to repaint the exposed end and then that’s the shower cubicle done as the shower caddy in already in place.

He let me loose with the cordless drill and we now have feet on the cupboard so will have some airflow underneath. He has also cut the two uprights for the A frame he is going to make to box in the pipes and the cupboard will sit in front.

This afternoon he gave the step a second coat of varnish and when dry, that can be put together. I used my two chopping boards as a temporary measure today when I had my shower and it will really make a difference for me getting out.

We are so nearing the end of this project!!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Such a good feeling when it’s all coming together. I took a nasty spill this week under the pergola tripping on the steps hubby put under it temporarily, but the paving is now booked, so hopefully I’ll stay upright until then

I love to check things off the list! It sounds like you’ll soon have to look for another project since this one is nearly complete!!!
