Share Your World 20th February

Welcome to Share your World.
There are two ways in which you can participate:
Leave your answers to this week’s questions in the comments box below or create your own post.

To make it easy for others to check out your post, title your blog post “Share Your World” and link it to this one.

Ping-backs are activated, but don’t always work properly.
To play safe, leave a link in a comment, just to be sure or if you prefer, leave just the link if you don’t have anything else to chat about.
Instructions on how ping-backs work are found by clicking here
. Thanks!

Melanie always included an optional gratitude section at the end and I see no reason to change that.

Here are your questions for this week based on your shopping habits:

  1.   When food shopping, do you go with a list and stick to it, or buy on the hop?
  2.   When clothes shopping, do you prefer to shop in a store or buy mail order?
  3.    Do you like shopping for shoes?
  4.    Do you enjoy shopping alone or with friends/partner?

Gratitude:
A gift, no matter how small, can mean the world to the recipient.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I hate all forms of shopping. In and out as quick as possible. If I can’t find what’s on my list I just forget it and leave

    • I’ve given up looking for alternatives now as they are just as, or more expensive.

      • DA Whittam says:

We never used to eat steak because of the cost, it’s nearly the same price as chicken now. Hubby is cooking a lot of vegetarian as daughter is supplying us from her patch while ours is getting established

      • Hubby can’t eat steak or pork chops now, so it’s chicken, minced beef, sausages or fish. We may well give our veg patch a rest this year.

When food shopping, do you go with a list and stick to it, or buy on the hop? – When I do the weekly ‘big shop’ on Sundays, I always bring a list even if I mainly get the same items every week. Give or take a few!

First, that is very cool of you to budget with the app & stick to it… I’m working on that myself. Second, thanks for reminding me of the Clearance! Sheesh, I do love our Clearance racks up here. Thanks so much!

Hopefully once I sort out my new technology I can participate on these 😁

  5. All about shopping, on and offline — a fun set of questions. The pingbacks neither backing nor pinging is a real pain, but I’ve put one in. It might work. Then again, it might not.

    • I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that this problem is a combination of the “upgrades” to the PC platform — AND Google — and the overwhelming volume of material on the internet.
