Reblogging this for Oloriel’s Sunday Confessionals:
“This week for Sunday Confessionals I would like you to create and write about moments of nature : those moments where you noticed the sky, heard the specific rustle of the leaves and similar.”We had many walks in the woods with Maggie. So far, we haven’t taken Maya there yet.
When we arrived, the car park was quiet, so we guessed we were likely to meet up with people because it always seems to work out that way.
The sun through the trees was quite lovely, though I don’t think my pictures do it much justice. We walked down to the bottom perimeter fence for a change and remembered happy times with Maggie rushing ahead to explore.
It was along here that she flipped a rabbit kitten out of curiosity but didn’t harm it.
The silver birch is still there, the one that looks like several trees became entwined.Just beyond this point is the fence and a huge field which at the moment is full of leeks.

Love walking in the woods, listening to nature sounds!
We took Maggie several times a week and she loved to explore. When Maya is older and we have more confidence in her recall and her not being so distracted, it’s top of the list for an outing.
