Bathroom Project Day 13

We couldn’t do much today as we had the dentist this morning and the journey to and from was a little fraught. We ended up being late due to heavy traffic so I phoned ahead and the receptionist laughed as we weren’t the only ones stuck some 5 miles or so from our destination due to an accident. On the way home, we had to stop as our tyre pressure warning light came on and by the time we’d sorted that out, the road was closed by the police following another accident. Still, good news is that neither of us need fillings or extractions and as the last dentist did a very poor job of dental care, as expected I have an appointment with the hygienist in September, as that was the earliest one available.

Anyway, Hubby has cut the final awkward tiles which are now in place and the drainage has all been connected up with no leaks. Hurrah!
We saw a bathroom cupboard today but it wasn’t for sale as it was used for displaying something in a shop window. At least we know what we’re after is available, now all we have to do is find a source!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Glad you don’t need fillings! September was the soonest you could get in for a cleaning? Wow! I can’t believe that! X

Always good news if there isn’t anything the dentist needs to do! Sounds like the bathroom remodel is moving in the right direction!!

Good news about the dentist visit. 😊

    • Yep.Not so happy about the hygienist though as the last one was harsh and unsympathetic when she kept hurting me. Hubby says he hopes I have the same person he did who was lovely.

I sincerely hope that you now have an accident free bathroom.
