Sarah is our host and has provided one of her own pictures this week.
It was like something out of The Matrix, only this time it was a cocktail, not a pill.
Steph didn’t know which to choose. Whatever she didn’t, Pete would have. He insisted it was her first pick.
‘What’s in them?’ she asked.
‘Fruit juice, lemonade, ice, and a secret ingredient.’
‘And what might that be?’
‘Not telling. Now, which would you like?’
‘Can I sniff them?’
Pete laughed.
‘No you can’t!’
‘Can I at least swirl the glass?’
‘Only after you decide which one to have.’
He had that devilish twinkle in his eye and she knew something was amiss.
He put both drinks on the table and stood back.
‘Choose!’
Steph stepped back too, uncertain, and then she saw it.
‘I’ll have the pink one!’
‘I thought you might,’ and handed her the glass.
Steph dunked in her finger and pulled out the diamond ring.
‘The drink that will change your life. Will you?’
‘YES!!!!!!’ she screeched which made all heads turn in her direction.
‘Finally,’ her mother said with a sigh.

Her mother was happy that Steph was noy going to end up being an old Maide.
Either that or Pete finally got round to proposing!
How romantic 🙂
