Truthful Tuesday 20th December

Welcome to Truthful Tuesday, a prompt Melanie took over from PCGuyIV and one I am holding the fort on until he wants to take it back.
Unlike Fibbing Friday, the concept is quite simple in that I ask a question and you reply honestly and truthfully.
You can either leave your reply in the comments or write your own post and pingback to this one, then leave a link in the comments so that I can find it.

My question this week is

Do you enjoy taking part in other bloggers challenges?
Do you prefer a picture or word/sentence/question prompt?

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I love taking part in challenges. Though with time there are so many challenges that one has to pick and choose. I’ve reluctantly given up daily challenges as they required me to write posts the same day. I prefer weekly of monthly challenges now.

    I think I like a photo prompt first 💜

I do enjoy the prompts, they’re great inspiration, but which ones I participate in depends on my mood. I used to do a lot of them, but now, due to time constraints, I pick and choose

I really do as it inspires us to keep writing. I sometimes struggle with topics so I am grateful for other bloggers creating these challenges 😊

  6. I love prompts from other sites, it really stretches my imagination. I much prefer photo prompts but I do any and all I can find! I’m spending a lot of time behind the scenes working on a novel so having the prompts for the short stories is great

Participating in blog challenges hosted by others is basically all I do these days. I like all kinds of prompts, such as finding a photo, or any word or sentence response kind. I appreciate all the ones who host these fun challenges. 🙂

Definitely! And I am lacking in thanking all who put the work in to provide them. If I had a computer I would provide some myself. I have to add my favorite prompts are the wordless because they are so much fun but the poetry challenges make me stretch myself and that’s always good. Thanks to all who provide prompts!

  15. I do take part in a few challenges but time restraints limits me to only one once in a while. 🙂

Honestly, im always late reading blog posts, so I don’t see the point in participating in a challenge. Plus, it’s a lot of hassle pinging back to other bloggers (im not good at using links in my blogs). However, I like answering questions in the comments, and if there is a post with many questions, I will ask if I can reblog it and answer the questions in that reblog.
