We woke up to a smattering of snow (looked more like pregnant frost) and according to the radar, could expect some more as it was filtering down the East coast from the North.
So far, nothing else, but it is terribly cold and scarves, gloves and hats are out of storage.
Maya has had two walks today but it is unlikely she will have a third as even she doesn’t like getting her toes cold.
Lunch today was tuna fishcakes and baked beans followed by an ice cream. I know, ice cream on a cold day, but then I never said we were conventional.
It’s been what I’d term a ‘bitty day’ as I haven’t actually done very much apart from wrap the presents I bought yesterday, do the housework, and get our meal. I haven’t been able to settle though so I am late accessing my blog again.
Tomorrow Hubby has an INR appointment, then our weekend is free. Not very exciting I’m afraid.
Take care and keep safe everyone.

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
Sounds like my day! It was so cold out this morning that no one wanted to venture out – I wrapped gifts, did laundry, and did a little cleaning. Now I’m preparing to head out for an appointment followed by ceramics class. Nothing exciting today but tomorrow is a full day! I’ll be busy dawn to dusk!
Fish cakes and baked beans…that’s one of my favourites!
It was cold down here but at least it’s not icy on the roads or pavements yet. I’m getting my legs re-bandaged tomorrow…now a twice-weekly highlight for me.
Hope all goes well for you Glyn. Are they improving at all?
The anti-biotics helped, although my legs (and feet!) are still painful, they aren’t as bad as they were.
Glad there’s an improvement for you.
Sounds like you’ve had a busy day to me
