Truthful Tuesday 6th December

Welcome to Truthful Tuesday, a prompt Melanie took over from PCGuyIV and one I am holding the fort on until he wants to take it back.

Unlike Fibbing Friday, the concept is quite simple in that I ask a question and you reply honestly and truthfully.
You can either leave your reply in the comments or write your own post and pingback to this one, then leave a link in the comments so that I can find it.
My question this week is

If you could, would you like to hibernate during the winter months?

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

No, I wouldn’t want to miss all the delights of this season

  2. Nope, Not Pam says:

    Yes 🙂

  3. Hibernating would be a good idea, but I would miss the first flakes of snow. That’s if we ever get any…

  4. ghostmmnc says:

Yes, I would. I can’t stand winter and cold weather so it would be nice to just sleep through it all and wake up when spring gets here. 🙂

  5. Clive says:

No – I’d miss too much of the football season 😉

I sort of do hibernate! Only go out when necessary and my geocaching slows to a near stop! Of course the winter is when I migrate south on every vacation!!

Not really, I’d seize up! There are time’s when I’d have liked to hibernate though.

  12. No, I wouldn’t. I like winter most of the time. Snow is still a bit of a novelty. I like hot dinners like Shepherd’s Pie and beef stew and being cosy inside when it’s nasty out. Of course it is summer here now and nice to see after a wet and windy spring.

  13. No way, life’s too short without hiding away for a quarter of a year!
