Welcome to Share your World which I am going to continue to host in Melanie’s memory. I copied this from Evil Squirrel as Melanie has designed so many wonderful logos.

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    Hi Di. Good questions but if you don’t mind, they are all for people who celebrate Christmas. Since I don’t, I can’t join in.

    Do you have any family traditions? – Sibling birthdays are usually more lavish when there’s a 0 in the age.
    With December on its way, have you ever been carol singing? – I used to be in a church choir and did a lot of carol singing…until my voice broke!
    Do you decorate your home for the Christmas holidays? – I do decorate for Christmas
    Do you enjoy the Christmas rush for preparations and shopping? – I try to buy all my Christmas presents at least a week before the big day. It doesn’t always end up like that though.

      Thanks Glyn. One of our boating friends is 90 this year so I have a special card to prepare. I always tried to do something special for my Mum and managed for her 80th and 90th. My sister was 70 last year so a suitable card was sent. As to whether she celebrated (probably because she had for every other milestone since she was 40) I have no idea.
