Today is Thursday 24th November

It was dry but cold this morning and even though we knew nothing would dry outside, we did the weekly wash anyway and went up to the launderette to use their dryer.
Hubby drove up and I walked Maya through the park. She was very good for me and was curious about a dozen or so ducks that cut across our path to the lake, but she made no effort to follow them.
No sign of Geraldine, so we like to think she flew off to pastures new rather than dwell on other alternatives.
Maya is a year old today, but will be considered a puppy for at least another 6 to 12 months. I put some minced beef in her dinner and bought her some special chews which she can have as an alternative to the hide ones (some of which I also bought today) as they are both good for her teeth.

Hubby has just come back from walking her and she ran to me as I waited on the drive. The rain is now driving against the windows and sounds pretty icy and cold, so we are now in for the night.

Lunch was a cottage pie followed by bread and butter pudding as I was using the oven.
Hubby will have his second portion of both tomorrow.

Keep safe and take care everyone.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Wonderful day with Maya! Mochi had her first taste of turkey and is now rabid for more! We also had a fresh pineapple and let her gnaw on the core. She was very dainty about it…

The town was packed to with people making the most of the sales on ‘Black Friday’. I was in town visiting my mate who runs his own independent record & cd shop. He was happy the town was packed.
