The white rabbit and I are very close………….
Hubby has spent most of today up at A&E again. After ringing the doctor’s surgery first thing this morning, I managed to get him an emergency telephone appointment which came through at 11.15. The doctor said to go to A&E as antibiotics would not solve his current diverticulitis problem, so off we went, arriving at 12.28.
At 2pm,Β I came home to wait as we had the dog, and she has been wonderful. It’s not been much of a fun day for her, but she has had a couple of walks so that accounts for something. Hopefully we can give her some major quality time tomorrow.
I collected Hubby this evening and we were home by 8.45. It’s been long day, made even more miserable by the weather and the journeys too and from the hospital have been far from relaxing. I encountered several flooded roads on the way back this afternoon but luckily most of those have drained away as the torrential rainfall finally eased.
So as usual, I am chasing myself in trying to catch up on my blog, but at least I’ve responded to the comments and pingbacks!Β Time to go through my reader and see what bites for inspiration…………….
Hoping all will be better for you both tomorrow ππΌ
Thanks Wayne. It’s been a long day.
Hope hubby is feeling better.
Thanks Kate. At least he’s on meds that work now.
I hope your husband gets well soon.
Thanks Sadje. We’re getting there.

Sorry to hear it has been a trying day. I hope your husband is feeling better and will be pain-free or at least much less uncomfortable soon.
It’s a never ending circle for him at the moment Val. We get one thing sorted, then something else happens, more antibiotics and then, more warfarin challenges to get him back in range.
I hope you have a peaceful day soon. Look after yourselves
Thanks Deb. Getting there!
Hope Hubby is okay, what did the hospital do for him πππ€
Not much apart from take more blood and requesting yet another colonoscopy. At least we don’t have to pay for parking.
Small mercy!
He’s not impressed………………
No I understand that π
