Here is Fandango’s provocative question for this week.
You just won a giant lottery jackpot. What are the first three things you’re going to do with the money you won?
Top of the list is KEEP IT QUIET.
We would charter a private plane so that we could take the dog and visit my brother in NZ, then tour the country for six months.
We would move…………. somewhere bigger but not too big, that was closer to a hospital and health care for both of us and the dog. Our next house would have
a chimney (for putting in a multi fuel stove)
a garage, large enough to have a workshop area at the back with power.
a substantial distance from the main road
an enclosed garden for Maya to play in (and potential for another dog for her to have a playmate, be it one of her own pups or another)
a large kitchen
a separate dining room from the lounge (so a kitchen diner would be acceptable)
3 bedrooms, at least one with an en suite.
Of course having all that money would mean we wouldn’t have to worry about the cost of living there.
If we could still drive, we would upgrade our vehicle for one that would accommodate two dogs and two mobility scooters.
Sounds very practical.
Also probably considered selfish, but that would most likely be the first three things we’d do.
Money can’t buy happiness but it can sure make you more comfortable! I think if I won a big jackpot, the first thing would be to vacation – in Europe (a geocaching whirlwind tour), second would be a house all on one level (brick, hardwood floors, and a hot tub), the third would be a housekeeper who would come to clean twice a week and keep the house spotless!
Nice choices!
A practical list
Just the way I think……………
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
It’s better to keep quiet indeed. A very practical plan, Di
I’d donate some to various worthy causes too
Yes. That would be a great opportunity to do what we can to help worthy causes.
I’d be able to start a business with a chain of independent record and CD stores. I’d give some to the Red Cross charity (and others) and help out the NHS in some way. If I had any left; I’d just like to see the World.
Nice and generous Glyn.
