These were the questions I posted earlier:
1. Does the weather affect your mood?
I try not to let it, but confess a sunny day is more likely to put a smile on my face than a wet one.
2. If a stranger smiles at you or says ‘good morning’ when they pass you in the street, do you return it?
Yes, as I often smile at strangers or say ‘Good morning’ when passing.
3. If you had a choice of just one of these things to eat, what would it be and why?
Chocolate, a sweet pastry, a plate of chips/fries (this is not a forever choice, just one instance).
A sweet pastry. I love danish pastries, cream or custard slices, eccles cakes, mince pies and fruit tarts which are all synned foods of the highest order.
Chocolate can be broken down into smaller portions (provided Will Power isn’t on holiday) and there are some ways you can cook chips that are permissible with SW.
4. If you could go back to when you were a specific age, what would that be? Why?
Perhaps when I was 18 and had the chance to work in Jersey for the bank. I was not a confident teenager and afraid of the unknown, so stayed where I was.

About pensitivity101
I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
A friend of mine spent part of his youth living in Jersey and often used to tell me about it. I never knew that they filmed scenes for The Goodies there until he told me. I’d loved to have visited Gerald Durrell’s zoo.
That’s interesting!
Nice! I think if I could go back in time I’d go back to when I was 16. I’d have been bolder too. And I’d have asked for help in writing an essay for a scholarship…
My 16th year was awful.
Wonderful answers shared
Thank you
Do you wish you had gone to Jersey Di? When I was fourteen I had the chance of going to Germany to stay with a penfriend but for the same reasons I never went either. 🫢
I was asked if I’d like to work there for the bank for two years but I turned it down. I was a nervous traveller, especially on my own and still am. That’s why it was such a feat for me to go to NZ on my own in 2010!
All credit to you for putting on your big girl pants eventually ☺️
haha.
Jersey is a lovely place.
Hubby and I went over on the ferry and hired a car. We put a fiver’s worth of fuel in it and then went to every corner of the island to use it up!
Thought provoking post. I find the weather has the power to exaggerate how I am feeling, but doesn’t totally change my mood. I do enjoy spending time outdoors though, which certainly isn’t as fun in the rain. As for strangers I often reciprocate 🙂
Thanks for commenting. Hubby and I have danced in the rain after a major heatwave, had a BBQ in the rain because we’d bought the burgers already and played croquet at an Alice In Wonderland theme park when the skies opened!
Never letting the weather stop you. I love that spirit 🙂
Nope, never let it beat us yet
Love these questions 😊
Thanks!
