Welcome to Share your World which I intend to continue to host in Melanie’s memory.
I considered her a personal friend and know how much pleasure she got from writing these posts. She was very popular and like so many other bloggers, I shall miss her wit and presence .
There are two ways in which you can participate:
Leave your answers in the comments box below or create your own post.
To make it easy for others to check out your post, title your blog post “Share Your World” and link it to this one.
Ping-backs are activated, but don’t always work properly.
I think it is best to leave a link in a comment, just to be sure. It’s okay to just leave the link if you like and don’t have anything else to chat about. If you’d still like to try leaving a ping-back, instructions on how ping-backs work are found by clicking here. Thanks!
As always, there will be an optional gratitude section at the end.
My questions this week then are:
1. Do you consider friends an extension of your family?
2. Would you confide in a friend more than you would a family member?
3. How long have you known your best friend?
4. Do you believe distance has a negative effect on friendships?
My gratitude is knowing I friends who care just by being there.
I don’t have any friends, but I do over share with my boss. Does that count 😊
If you have a good boss, that’s great. My boss stood by me through my nervous breakdown and I will always be indebted to her for that.
Mines very pragmatic, but he listens
That’s a good thing.

I love that you are continuing this and how generous of you. I do indeed think of friends as an extension of my family. Friends to me are the family I choose for may
Thanks Cindy. I hope to see you taking part sometimes.
I wish I had more time to play but I’ll look for them for times I might be able to participate. Thanks! ❣️
Always welcome.
💞❤️
I always wind up doing this a day late, probably because it takes me so long to find the original post. And so life moves along.
If it helps, I schedule it for around 5.30 UK time on Mondays.
Google is overloaded. I may get posts immediately or a day or two late. Sometimes I get nothing for a day or so and then I get a few hundred emails in a single dump. It makes it hard to find individual posts I’m looking for.
Ah.
1. Depends on the friend
2. Again, depends on the friend (and the family member)
3. Not sure
4. It can, but that doesn’t mean it always does
Thanks Frank.

1. Do you consider friends an extension of your family? – Yes, in certain aspects
2. Would you confide in a friend more than you would a family member? – Yes, I have told a best friend things that my family wouldn’t want to hear.
3. How long have you known your best friend? – I still have friends from over 40 years ago
4. Do you believe distance has a negative effect on friendships? – Yes, often when friends move away, they tend to lose touch.
Hi Glyn. Thanks for joining in and thanks too for the follow. WELCOME!
