Today is Friday 30th September

Another month almost over.
It is 3.20 in the afternoon and we have had a busy day.

I had a blood test this morning to determine which type of arthritis I have and that started off with the question
‘Did you bring your own bottle?’
I was confused and said I’d come for a blood test, not a pee test, and it appeared that she did not have the necessary coloured phial for part of the analysis and I may well have to go to the Path Lab at the hospital.
She rang them to check and apparently they have changed the light mauve lid to purple, of which she had several so all was well.
Finding a vein as usual proved interesting as they run for cover, but she found one eventually and turned on the tap. Five phials later, two purple ones just in case, I was done.
I made an appointment for the doctor to ring me to discuss the results and pain medication after my reaction to the last lot so that will be on the 14th.

From there, we went to the tip as we had a load of junk that has accumulated over the last few weeks. We can now get in the shed, hurrah!!
I also had to go to the bank and discovered that the reason I couldn’t balance the books was because a supermarket had duplicated a debit, so hopefully we can sort that out tomorrow. I also have to go to the building society and they close at midday on a Saturday, so we are taking our friend’s daughter in to catch an earlier train which works well for everyone.

After that, it was to the other surgery for Hubby’s appointment, get fuel, and then home.
It’s been a long morning.

Take care and keep safe everyone.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

That is a busy day! I’d have rather done that than clean house (I really hate to dust)!

It’s never ending. I seem to be going for tests or to the doctors lately 😊

    • Hubby has had two more referrals so they shall be coming through in due course and I shall be having a telephone conversation with the doctor to discuss pain meds and the results of my blood test regarding the arthritis.

    You were very busy!
I hope the appointment on the 14th will be a good one and you can get the right meds to help your pain levels. Xx
