Last Fibbing Friday of September 2022

Hello and welcome to Fibbing Friday.
Melanie of sparksfromacombustiblemind is my alternating partner and will be back with us next week. Hurrah! She has been sadly missed. For those of you not familiar with her blog, you can check it out here

It’s well worth a look!

You can join in by writing a post with your answers to my 10 questions below and tag it “Fibbing Friday” or #FibbingFriday.

If you use WordPress, pingbacks are enabled, and as long as you link to this post, it should show up.
Bear in mind though that they are usually approved manually, so don’t be surprised if the link doesn’t show immediately as I may be late accessing my blog.
You can also leave a link to your post in the comments so that others can enjoy your answers and may like to join in as well! Also have a read of other bloggers answers if you can spare the time as some of them are terrific.
The idea is to lie your socks off, be outrageous (but please keep it family friendly), silly, cheeky, or whatever takes your fancy as long as it’s not the truth.

With recent events regarding the UK economy this week, it got me thinking about money.
We are all familiar with the abbreviations for various currencies, so what if currency suddenly disappeared? What would you suggest these abbreviations would then stand for if they no longer relate to money?

1. GBP

2. USD

3. CHF

4. EUR

5. DOP

6. INR

7. ISK

8. JPY

9. MYR

10. THB

Have fun and I’ll be back with my suggestions later.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
