The days has started overcast but still surprisingly warm.
Hubby has gone to his INR appointment on his own as Maya wasn’t well this morning so we’ve stayed home. I think it may well have been the lamb bone she had yesterday which she thoroughly enjoyed and ate the lot. She came into us earlier than usual this morning desperate to go out, and she’s also been sick, so today we are going to have a quiet day with no excitement.
I’ve taken her for a walk and we’ve also had a few throws of the gonks as she deposited them in my lap, so it was obvious she wanted to play. She’s eaten half of her breakfast so we won’t overload her tummy, and I’m going to do chicken and rice for lunch so she can have some of that in her dinner.
Not much going on her today otherwise, so this must be one of my shortest posts ever!
Take care and keep safe everyone.

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
Poor baby, I hope she’s feeling better soon
Thank you.
Poor pup. Hope she feels better soon!
Thanks. Chicken and rice in her food and she’s cleared her bowl. She seems content enough but we are not overloading her on treats to give her tummy a rest.
Sounds like she’s one of the dogs that can’t handle bones. Some have no issues and others pay for it and it is a high price… Hope she is feeling better soon.
Thanks Val. She seems her usual self now.
aww poor maya! I hope she’s ok now, and that she got better quickly!
Hi Carol Anne. She’s fine now thanks.
