pirate, forehead, imagine, footpath, abrupt, volunteer, colleague, sway, sapphire, pavilion, confess, tact
He thought he made a good pirate. He had a patch over one eye and a drawn scar across his forehead which made him look very mean.
His trusty ship would be the park pavilion and the footpath was the dividing boundary. Should anyone volunteer to stray, he would sway his sword menacingly and make them confess to treason, then make them walk the plank. Colleague was a new word to him and totally unfitting for his crew of teddy bears and action men.
The pillaging of sapphires and rubies came to an abrupt end when he was called in for tea. How tactless of his Mum! His six year old imagination was just getting into its stride!
