Share Your World 12th September: my response

Here are my answers to the questions I set earlier.
1. If you were to go to a desert island and could only take five things with you, what would they be?
An unlimited supply of soft toilet tissue, an unlimited supply of bottled water, a large mug, a knife, and matches.

2. What popular song (any era) best describes you?
I am what I am by Shirley Bassey.

3. If you could only use three basic ingredients to make a meal, what would they be?
Minced beef, an onion and tomatoes.

4. Do you allow your pet on the furniture?
Maya is not allowed on the furniture and responds very well to the word OFF!
Maggie however was a different matter as when we were in the caravan and on the boat, we had little choice, and for years she had always slept on the bed with us. However, saying that, she NEVER got up until her blanket was in place.
GRATITUDE:

It’s the start of a new week. What are you most looking forward to?

We actually have a pretty quiet week this week so I’m looking forward to being able to relax!!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    Nicely answered Di.

  2. Great choice of supplies!
(Dogs on furniture. We are currently fighting the concept that the furniture is a dog gym …and the coffee table is not a high occupancy travel lane…sigh)
Maya, you are such a wonder dog!

    • Maya can be a pain……… but she’s still a puppy!
Ha! Love the idea of a dog gym (I know I shouldn’t), though we are utilising pavement posts as ‘weave’ poles which seem to be working OK!

I think I’d take my house, my husband, a grocery store (with all the contents), a library, and the dog!!
