Happy Anniversary to Bro who celebrates 34 years of marriage today.
It’s another warm day so the washing is out. I am really pleased with the new machine.
Not much on our agenda today so we shall see how things pan out. Hubby has a blood test this afternoon and is also waiting for a call from the doc.
I walked Maya on my own this morning and did the Kela route. This was the beach at 7am (old photo from 2015)
The tide was out and there was no-one about, other than the cafe staff getting tables and chairs ready for the early morning breakfasters. It won’t be long before restrictions are lifted and dogs are allowed on the beach. At our end, they are allowed all year, but from May 1st to Sept 30th, the town end does not allow them…… not that it stops some locals from exercising their dogs very early wherever they want.
Maya was content to trot along beside me on a short lead, but no tension. It is always so lovely when there are no distractions. We did see some dogs, but the only one close enough for an encounter was a jack russell and owner (miserable git) I didn’t recognise. Maya had a little lunge, but a quick flick on the lead and she sat down. I don’t know who was more stunned, her or me!
I’m hoping to write some Hello cards today and may not use the ones I know are too fat for normal postage just yet. I have a photo of Maya to send to a friend who has recently lost her dog as she’s asked for one. She has no plans to get another just yet, but is dog sitting for some friends so still has some furry company.
It sounds like Maya is starting to realise whoβs the boss π
Today maybe, haha! It will come. We will keep at it and hope the lightbulb moment comes sooner rather than later.
Wow! Maya is really getting better (provided there aren’t any distractions). I’m sure that maturity will improve thing too! Love the card – very pretty!!
Thanks Val. We are making progress, albeit slowly, but progress nonetheless.
Lovely card ππ
Thank you. It’s one of my earlier ones.
