1. What is a broom?
It’s the noise a young child makes when he’s pretending to drive a car.
2. What is a doughnut?
The counterpart of a dough bolt.
3. What is a penny farthing?
Penny Wise’s poorer sister.
4. What is a blanket?
One of several worlds in an alternative galaxy
5. What is a socket?
A baby sock.
6. What is tapestry?
Similar to pastry, but it tends to flow rather than flake.
7. What is e-mail?
The part of an organism that is neither male nor female
8. What is a shower?
The spoilsport who shows how all the magic tricks are done.
9. What is a sandbag?
An argumentative old woman who lives on the beach.
10. What is chocolate?
The devil in disguise.

In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

1. Broom is a young man getting married who has a heavy Irish brogue.
2. A doughnut is someone who’s crazy about money.
3. Farthing is the expulsion of gas from one’s bottom while sitting in a cushy recliner.
4. A blanket is to momentarily forget an answer.
5. A socket is a light jab to the jaw when children spar.
6. Tapestry is the highest level of tap-dancing.
7. E-mail is a Hungarian man’s first name.
8. A shower is a female field plougher.
9. A sandbag is the accumulation of sleep dust under one’s eyes in the morning.
10. Chocolate is when you stop for ice cream and miss the bus home.

((((Still laughing))) Broom is the witch’s private jet, Doughnut is something to help you see thru a hole. Farthing…hmmm it’s a far thing, I can’t see it. Blanket is something I need to feel safe. Lol 😻😂
