QUESTIONS
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? If you’re retired, what’s something you now include in your schedule that you dreamed about while employed?
Now that Covid isn’t so strictly monitored and folks can go out and about again, are you into after-work happy hours?
What physical traits do you share with your relatives? (Example: I have my mother’s nose)
How long does it take you to decide if you like someone or not
Here are my answers:

When I was working, a day off meant a lie in, or field trip somewhere. Now being retired I can do that any day.
I never really thought about what I’d do in retirement though, but now I’m here, I don’t know how I managed to find the time to work as there just never seems to be enough hours in the day! Still, we can walk along the beach every day so that’s a bonus!

I never was and I am more crowd conscious than ever now.

I am my mother, though people say I am like my maternal grandmother.
Photos: left me at 8, centre Mum at 94, right my grandmother as a young woman.

Usually within five minutes. Hubby says I’m scary.
GRATITUDE SECTION
Feel free to share some wisdom you live by.
Hubby is retired, I’m still working. I find it very frustrating on the weekends as I’m rushing around and he’s so laid back. Drives me up the wall
It happens when you’re both retired, believe me!!!!
I’ve got another 10 years of working, I’ve even got a countdown on my phone 📞
My dream was retirement. I MADE IT!
Mine was getting my pension, and I had my first full payment yesterday!
I had a plan and so far it is working out! More time for poetry, WP, art – including ceramics, and visiting with friends and family! Of course I’m also working some very part-time hours. This last week I put in all of 1.5 hours! Just about enough to fill the gas tank!
We have a 50 litre tank so it would cost £100 to fill ours. That’s a lot of money so we top up when it dips below 3/4.
Beautiful gratitude memes Di.
Thanks Sadje. I’m counting my blessings more and more these days.
Great.
Lol about knowing within 5 minutes if you like someone or not! I’m the same! I get a vibe! xo
