“Amazed” is a song by American country music group Lonestar, released on March 22, 1999, for country radio as the second single from their third studio album Lonely Grill (1999). The power ballad is the band’s longest-lasting number one single and biggest hit, spending eight weeks at the top of the Billboard country chart. The song was written by Marv Green, Aimee Mayo, and Chris Lindsey. A pop remix of the song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts in 2000. The song has sold over 1,650,000 digital copies in the US as of February 2016.

From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    I would have thought that Lonestar would be from Texas, but I just read that they are from Nashville, TN. Nice music Di.

    Funny how we always slam the country for the wife, the kids, the dog running away, the car breaking down, and general misfortune Hal wever the genre has some of the most inspiration music to be found. Great choice.
