Today is Saturday 11th June

It’s going to be another hot one so we are going to cut the grass first thing, then we shall be off to take our friend’s daughter to the train station and do a bit of bulk shopping on the way back.

Thought you’d like to see these:

The Ancient Mariner continues to bloom in all its glory though many of the first showing are going over. Still a lot of buds on it though.

Our red In Loving Memory has also woken up.

Have a great start to the weekend.
Take care and keep safe everyone.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Your roses are gorgeous! Sounds like a busy day! I’ve only got a lunch date with my sons and then a little cleaning… a lazy day here!

    Beautiful roses!

  3. Love your roses; they are beautiful! 😊😊

  4. Beautiful, and I love it that you incorporate your beautiful blooms for everyone to see into your posts! How’s ‘Maggie’s Rose’ coming along? The two you did display are magnificent, you obviously have a green thumb! Have a great day Di, and loves to Maya!

    • Maggie’s rose is awash with white blooms and buds. I deheaded all of the bushes today, taking 25 off the Ancient Mariner, 2 off Maggie’s rose and 5 from the yellow climbers. Peace has a couple more buds on it too. The clay soil seems to favour roses and I don’t really have to do anything!
