Today is Wednesday 18th May

It is 5.15 in the afternoon and I have just opened my blog.
For a day with no plans, we have been busy!
This morning we had a field trip for a variety of things and but actually bought few that were on the list.
Maya was not on her best behaviour as the town was really busy and being the puppy she is, wanted to check out everything. However, I walked her three times on my own yesterday and again in the evening with Hubby and one on one, she was great. I took her for a short walk this morning before we left for town and again she was good, but then I didn’t see a soul which is very much a saving grace.

Hubby has spent the last couple of hours replacing the tatty soap dish and toothbrush holder in the bathroom. It has been bugging him for months and we had been unable to find anything similar to do swapsies. So he has made a shelf and I shall be on the look out for a pretty soap dish and mug set to sit on the top.
We have a list of things to do again, some small, some major, so will be busy in the coming weeks.

Have a lovely evening and as always, take care and keep safe.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Hi Di glad to hear you’re all well 💜💜

  2. Sometimes ordinary little things end up making the day so pleasant. (So long to that annoying soap dish/toothbrush holder. It’s in such a place it is often seen the first – and lost thing each day. So long and farewell!)
