Do you become discouraged by the annual “Blogging Ennui” phenomenon that comes around every year?    (it’s early this year IMO) (blogging ennui means (to me) a distinct slow down in writing and participation, which lasts an indefinite period of time).
Not really. I notice a drop in stats but the comments are still plentiful which to me are more important. I have cut back on my posts lately because I think my main topics (the dog and our day to day stuff) is wearing thin and dull, so my imagination is obviously lacking.

If you were in a room filled with you and your doppelganger (someone who looks exactly like you do.  Supposedly everyone has at least one out there in the world)  and 2 billion dollars, what would you do?   What do you think your doppelganger would do?
I’d offer to split the money and hopefully my lookalike would have a similar idea. We can do a lot with a billion bucks and I’m not greedy.

A building is burning. You have time to either save a child trapped inside or a valuable painting which you would then sell, using the money to save 20 children from starvation. What would you do and why?
Definitely the child as a life is irreplaceable. Art is insured and it was probably a copy anyway.

What’s your opinion of yams or sweet potatoes?
I’ve never had them so can’t comment.

Please feel free to share an image of something that makes you smile!

Has to be this
I’m not sure if the smell of cheese was a sedative or a comfort!
And this. She hadn’t done anything wrong, or if she had, we don’t know what!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  3. Thanks for Sharing Your World Di! I say keep the life and dog posts coming, as I find it fascinating and not at all boring. But if it’s starting to wear thin for you too, then perhaps a change is in order. You do great btw. Such lovely photos of the Beautiful Girl. The original question read “two MILLION” and I thought “Pfui. That’d be gone quicker than sneezing. Let’s use the word “BILLION”. Now that has some heft. And isn’t that sad? That everything is priced so out of sight that a million dollars (more money than I’ve ever seen or expect to see) is relegated to chump change. You’re right, the child is a living creature and the painting is probably a knock off or could be reproduced. No contest! Have a great week!

    • Thanks Melanie. I’m still doing the Today is and posting about Maya, but maybe not so long. I’m fast approaching my 1000th 3TC and thinking how I could revamp it a little as it still seems popular.
When I worked for the High Street Bank, as 1st cashier I was actually ‘in charge’ of one million pounds. I wanted to sit
in the strong room on the floor surrounded by it all, and throw my hands up yelling Whee!!! They wouldn’t let me.
Working for the American Bank, there was no physical money, just reports and they were in billions!!
