The day has started cool and dry, so will be better for the dogs as both Kela and Maya have been feeling the heat of late.
Nothing on our agenda today, so Hubby is out washing the car. I shall be getting the kit out and making some Hello cards as there are quite a few bits I can use on the birthday cards I received. I had such a lovely day.
Lunch is chicken pie (which I shall syn as it has pastry), peas, carrots and potatoes, and I found some mini yorkshire puds in the bottom of the freezer which are only a syn each.
The scales were kind this morning and I have pulled back a pound from my indulgences this week and hopefully will be smack on target for a maintain tomorrow when I text in.

In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

It’s been raining here for the last couple of hours, but it’s not cold. Quite stuffy indoors, but we’ve kept the door and windows closed.
It’s probably me but I am freezing 🤣
Hubby has been feeling the cold too, but I’m the usual toaster at night and sleep with my feet and torso out of the duvet.

Sometimes the inner hot water bottle is just too much though. Hubby doesn’t mind and snuggles in.
