Changes are afoot………. or ahead

I’ve noticed for quite a while that some challenges are disappearing, for example Tale Weaver, First Line Friday, Six Word Story Prompt, Monday’s Wordle, and Sunday Photo Prompt to name just a few. I miss them, but not volunteering to take any of them up, I simply don’t have the time.

My blog is a mix of things, but challenges do make up a lot of it, especially the photo prompts. I hope they don’t go the same way, though I appreciate that hosts have a life outside Blogging and sometimes it all gets too much. I stopped my Take Seven for that very reason.

The post previous to this one is in lieu of Frank’s (aka PCGuyIV) Fibbing Friday. This was one of Teresa Grabs regular posts before she left WordPress and a favourite which was why Frank and I doubled up to host alternate weeks.
I still think it’s a fun challenge and it seems to remain popular so I’m happy to continue with it if Frank no longer wants to or has other commitments. I understand this was why he stepped back from blogging for a while.

I schedule a lot of my stuff in blocks, so my normal fortnightly Fibbing Friday is ready to go next week.

As for this week, I was rather impressed by my original answers which made me laugh, so I’m not going to change them!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I’ve noticed there are fewer prompts too. Even if I don’t participate I do like reading everyone else’s blogs…
