Sunday Ramble May 1st

Thanks go to Amy for our ramble selections each week. Check it out here

Here are the questions:

  1. If people get a purple heart for bravery, what do the other colors of hearts mean? (Make up your own heart meanings and colors.)
  2. If you were given $5 Million to open a small museum, what kind of museum would you create?
  3. if you could build a themed hotel, what would the theme be and what would it look like?
  4. What would the adult version of an ice cream truck sell, look like, and play for its song?
  5. What animal would be the cutest if it was down-sized to the size of a cat?

    Here are my answers:

1. Black hearts are supposed to belong to evil souls, but maybe they are just unhappy and a dark shade of grey. Red hearts are always associated with love and romance, similarly with roses, and each coloured rose can have a special meaning.
I love the hearts kids draw……….. never perfectly shaped or coloured within the lines, but artistic and beautiful, done with such love and innocence.

2. $5M to open a museum? Where to start.
How can you exhibit common sense, trust, loyalty, truth, honesty, compassion, kindness, and a million other emotions, feelings and characteristics that have sadly been lost.

3. My themed hotel would be one that magically and instantly reflected the client’s needs.

4. My adult ice cream truck would be the size of a fuel tanker and would never run out of my favourite ice cream, whatever flavour it was at the time. At the moment, mango, blueberry, smarties, rum and raisin, honeycomb, caramel whirl, strawberry, pineapple, and bubblegum flavour are in the running. Minimum size available would be a gallon for the price of a single cornet on the high street. It’s song would be Strawberry Fields Forever, and NOT as one of those annoying jingle jangle bells efforts.

5. I’ve answered this before and said elephant. That has not changed as I still think they are cute.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Your museum and humanity hotel sound perfect to me! I’ll take a room with a view of the beach and a ocean breeze, please ๐Ÿ™‚ I agree about the elephant! That would be a cute animal when shrunk. It’s the floppy ears for me! Thanks for rambling with me, Di. I enjoyed these!

I love the idea of an elephant the size of a cat!! Too cute! As for your adult ice cream truck – I’d opt for rum raisin or chocolate rum ball. Nobody makes eggnog ice cream any more or butterscotch either. I say bring back those flavors and ditch the unicorn sparkle and the dragon’s den flavors!

  3. May I have a double scoop of malted milk flavored ice cream in a waffle cone with just the smallest tracing of elegant chocolate swirls over the cone? They used to make malted milk ice cream here, but I guess the flavor wasn’t popular and I haven’t seen it in 20 years. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ And today while in the BIG city (Salt Lake) I see they’ve even torn down the building that housed that ice cream company. I haz a sad. You never can ‘go home again’, can you?
