Haven’t done one of these for a while, but Sammi’s word Lexicon has triggered a childhood memory.
As a child, my parents were keen on education games such as Scrabble or Upwords.
There were two card games we played too, one was Kan U Go and the other Lexicon.
I vaguely remember being dealt cards, each having a single letter and value on it. The object of the game was to make words or change those already down until you’d played all your cards to win the hand. Everyone then added up their unplayed values and the first to 100 points lost.

I’d forgotten all about Lexicon until you mentioned it! I used to love it.
We still have Scrabble but haven’t played it for a while.
Only yesterday I signed up to Scrabble Go, an online version!
We used to love to play but one friend took it too seriously and it spoilt the pleasure.
Excellent game lexicon, a forerunner of Scrabble? ๐
I looked it up and the first Scrabble board game dates back to 1948, but Lexicon was developed in 1932 so you’re right!
I was born in ’79… but I think I played Lexicon too!

I remember playing it, but not the whole format.
Same here!
Who doesn’t love a word game?
I’ve always enjoyed them
