Still here………..

We still have internet service so I’m making the most of it.
Having got up relatively early (for me at 6.30) I had breakfast, then took Maya for a walk.
We met up with two other dog owners and she wasn’t too bad, though I stayed on my side of the road. This wasn’t because I didn’t know the other people, but I didn’t want her lunging and starting the day off on the wrong foot.Β  To be honest, the sparrows and blackbirds were more distracting on our walk, but on a scale of one to ten, it was a worthy 8.

We had two male pheasants on our neighbour’s front lawn last night. One was decidedly chubby and would have made a nice meal, but the other was a bit scrawny.Β  Unusual to see them here, but then we’ve had deer, geese, ducks, foxes and badgers in our street.
The day has dawned bright and sunny, but we had a heavy frost this morning and I had to put the heating back on as the house was very chilled.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. Hi Di I heard it is cold in the UK. It is cold here too. Are you feet any better on the treatment?

    • Hi Roberta.
The feet are definitely improving thanks. I’ve got a new pair of trainers to test indoors which have shaped insoles which felt promising when I tried them on in the shop.
