Today is Saturday 9th April

It is another beautiful day here, but the wind has got a nasty bite.
We’ve been out for a walk along the Kela route, and Maya was OK for us to a degree, but once sidetracked, all hope of a calm relaxing walk went out with the tide.
I’ve been taking pictures of her with the Canon and can see how much she’s grown since this was taken on 18th March:
This was taken an hour or so ago
I also took these today:

Yesterday I took these on our walk:

Yep, only 19 weeks old and she’s coming along.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Oh boy! She has really shot up! Was it only 3 weeks between photos?? I’m glad she is getting better on the lead since she is going to be a very big girl! (And she has such an intelligent expression with beautiful markings)

    • It was indeed. We are making progress and when we think how far she’s come in the six weeks we’ve had her, she is quite amazing. Our walk this afternoon (one on one) was very good and she only pulled once when she saw another dog at the end of the cut through, so I made her sit until it was out of sight. Coming home after that there was no strain on the lead at all. How i wish it would be like that all the time, but we are working on it.
