Good evening 8th April

The day is almost over and I have only just accessed my blog.

Today has seen us taking Maya for a walk and letting her ‘loose’ on a long rope.  We have also booked her in for a socialising class on Sunday as she gets so excited and wants to play with every four legged furball she comes in contact with.

We have also caught up with the washing as it has been a beautiful day here.

I have had to take the new trainers back as when I tried them on after our walk, the pressure was in all the wrong places. I have chosen an alternative and got a refund of the difference. I shall wear them for a little while round the house but am optimistic as they have a shaped insole which supports my foot where I need it.
Saying that, I’ve walked a fair bit today but it wasn’t the walking that knocked me back, but standing around chatting.

The saga of the useless Broadband provider continues as we have received a bill charging us line rental until May 5th. Seems we should get a refund of the difference after our contract terminates on Sunday. Somehow I think that will be a while in coming. The annoying thing is they have charged us £11.22 for calling their damn helpline and keeping me on hold for 4 hours.

Going to try and catch up now so apologies for being late responding to comments and approving any pingbacks.

I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    Cell phone carries are infuriating!! I hope you can get it figured out – without too much of a headache!
