Now I can understand why the price of gingernuts has gone up again and are now 36p for a 300g packet compared to 32p last week and 23p a fortnight ago.
And they weren’t McVs!

About pensitivity101
I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
๐ฎ I BET the seagulls and birds were right pleased with the broken open packages and the subsequent crumbs scattered ! But for you, the consumer, that IS rather bad news! ๐ฆ
I only bought 3 packets instead of 4, AND they are back to 29 in the packet instead of 30!!
OMG! Lol! ๐ funny!
Thanks Carol Anne
Any excuse to hike up the price!! That’s like when the price of crude oil goes up, within hours the cost at the pump has jumped – no way that gasoline was affected!!
It’s the same everywhere. We can expect rises in the price of milk and eggs in the next few days. Fuel prices at the pumps here continue to rise, despite the reduction in duty by the chancellor. It’s a farce.
The deflation of product size is amazing, we see all the time ๐
I’ve just discovered it with toilet rolls! There I was thinking Hubby and I were having a few problems when I read the back and the roll size has been reduced from 190 sheets to 170!!!
Oh my goodness ๐ค, Mr stocked up earlier then forgot and purchased more….I never checked if they shrunk!๐ณ
Sometimes it’s not just roll size, but also sheet size!! And I just love the way some packs tell you how many squares to use!!
