QUESTIONS

What fictional family would you like to be part of? (think TV shows, cartoon or books or some fictional family that you admire)
Years ago I would have said the Waltons, but I’ve outgrown that.
However, going back even further into my childhood, I’d like to be a Woodentop, because they’ve got the biggest spotty dog you ever saw!

Which band or artist would you like to play at your funeral or memorial service? (the artist can have passed on too)
I’ve asked Hubby to have something by Il Divo if I go first.

Preference. Popcorn, M&Ms or other. Choose something you love snacking on.
I have recently come to enjoy sweet and salty popcorn, but you can’t beat Smarties for a nibbly chocolate fix.

If you could be any supernatural (fantasy) character, what would you be? (Think Elves, fairies, dragons or whatever)
I wouldn’t mind being a dragon or a unicorn. I would never be cold because I’d have my own central heating and could light fires with no matches as a dragon, and as a unicorn, I would possess magic.

Please share the best advice you’ve ever gotten which you feel ought to be shared with everyone.
This bit is easy, albeit personal to me. My friend of many years told me to keep Hubby as he was useful. This was in 1989 when he was breaking into her car as she’d locked her keys inside.
Note: he used to work for car park security so didn’t damage her car at all.

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
