Once again Melanie has set the questions for the Share Your World series, something I always look forward to on a Monday. Find out more and join in here

What very common thing have you never done?  (this one probably is a recycle, but I don’t think it’s terribly recent?)
Ridden a horse.

Are we morally obligated to be charitable, if we have the means to?
I don’t think so, but we all show charity in different ways, so who is to say if that’s an obligation or personal choice.

What is the most amazing fact you know?
One I learned for my Fibbing Friday questions last week that a snail can sleep for up to three years!

What’s your favorite sandwich and why?
Tuna and red onion in a fresh crusty baguette because it’s crunchy and wakes up the tastes buds. Close second is prawns simply because I don’t have them very often.

GRATITUDE SECTION   (As always optional)   🌼🌻🌷🌹💐🌺🌼💮🌻

Please feel free to share something you find inspires you.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I’ve never had a prawn sandwich! I think I’ll have to google some recipes and perhaps add that to the menu some day soon…

    Very well answered Di.

I’ve ridden a horse and it was OK, but nothing I ever need to do again. LOL

  4. Thank you Di for Sharing Your World! You really have an amazing positive attitude! One that keeps trying and doesn’t quit at the first hurdle! Your gratitude thought was awesome, and the meme is one worth remembering too! ❤ Your sandwich choices sound delicious, save for the onions (but to each their own). I'm sure it brings out the flavor of the tuna in a very delicious way! And fresh crusty bread? A must! Nom Nom 😛 I have ridden a horse, twice. The horse was in charge both times, and knew it. I got thrown the second time I tried that, and that was enough for me. Plus a horse bit me once while I was feeding it some apple, I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but now I keep a safe distance and admire them from afar. O_o That whole snail fact is something rather amazing, isn't it? 🐌 Have a fabulous week, and hugs to Maya, who it seems is growing into a beautiful dog! ❤

    • Thanks Melanie. Gratitude thought was all mine and I liked the meme which I’ve used before.
Fresh crusty bread, especially when it was still warm, was always a weakness……. large slab of bread, butter, and topped with strawberry jam.
The red onion and tuna roll is a favourite from Greggs. I know you don’t like onions.
I think I’ve been on a donkey but can;t honestly remember. Definitely not a horse though as the only opportunity I had I chickened out as it was so big! I love to see them in the fields though.
Yes, our baby girl is growing fast!

    I’m a bit envious of the snail…I don’t sleep well 🙂
