Time for a Weekend Quickie

Gotta love these. Thanks to Rory for setting the questions. You can check it out here

Have you ever had the desire to holiday in a nudist camp? [OR have you holidayed in a nudist camp anyway?]
Absolutely none. I look better with my clothes on.
When was the last time you ironed an item of clothing?
When we were on the boat, so that’s over four years ago.
If your clothes could talk, what would they tell us about you?
I like to share my wrinkles, but I am clean.
When was the last time you rode on a bicycle?
1966 or thereabouts. I never took to it.
How well do you manage your time?
Brilliantly…… it’s my own so I can do what I like when and how I like.
Do you shine your shoes and if so is this daily or weekly and if not, why not?
Nope. I wear trainers. I do own a pair of boots but haven’t worn them for over two years so they are still shiny from then.
What makes for the perfect cup of coffee [or tea] in your opinion – is there a secret to the brewing process?
I usually prefer tea, so hot and not too strong with milk. You cannot beat that first sip of the first morning cuppa. Bliss.
Can you open a bottle with your teeth?
No chance! The teeth I have are few and wearing out!
What do you consider to be the Top Five drawbacks to being abducted by extra-terrestrials?
No chocolate, possible travel sickness, language problems, sense of humour, no blogging (but that’s only if they’re friendly)
How painful do you believe it might be to lie on a bed of nails?
If they are hammered in, you’ll be lying on the flat heads, not the points, so not painful, but damn hard!

Bonus Question
What is the most useless, and what is the most helpful colour in your opinion and why?
Most useless probably grey because it’s dull and depressing like permanent rain, and most helpful red because you associate it with danger and think twice before doing anything.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
