It is another beautifully sunny day today. The washing is out and we are about to take Maya for a walk to the park. She is responding better to Hubby on the lead, but we are sharing the training. She got us up at around 3am and did a wee and a poo when Hubby took her out. He stayed up for a bit but she settled down in the bedroom with me until about 5.30, then got up, I thought for a drink. When I didn’t hear lapping, I got up to check on her and she was sitting quietly by the lounge door. I let her in and she checked on Hubby who was fast asleep on the settee. I got her bed and a blanket for me then crashed out on the other. She settled beside me and slept until 6.30.
Breakfast has been had, meters read and all is well here.
Chili for lunch so no problems there. Hopefully then a quiet day.
Think I ought to get the duster out and do a bit of housework, puppy permitting. She does so like to ‘help’.

In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
