Linda marks her 8th anniversary for the SoCS this week and her prompt is
“way to go.”
‘Way to go Paula’ was part of the final dialogue of the film An Officer and A Gentleman when Richard Gere went into the factory and swept Paula off her feet to carry her outside.
Things don’t always go the way we expect or would like them too, but I often say ‘Way to go’ when things actually do go right.
In another context ‘What a way to go’ is said when someone has died doing something they love or were enjoying at the time.
Sometimes the only way to go is with the flow when we don’t have a choice or it is better for us to follow someone else’s lead.

Great post, Di. I loved that final scene, but had forgotten what everyone said to her. I am trying very hard to go with the flow.
