Fandango’s Provocative Question today is
If there are only three things in life that truly matter, what do you think they are and why did you choose those three?
Interesting thought processes here at Pensitivity101.
If I could only choose three, I guess they’d be:
Be true to yourself.
Reasons?
If you lose track of the person you are by pretending to be something you’re not to please other people, you can lose your identity. There is no shame in asking for help or advice when you’re unsure rather than blather on and get yourself into an even bigger mess.
Honesty, integrity, trust and loyalty.
Why?
I always club these together, especially when it comes to relationships. It doesn’t matter if it is as an employee, an employer, a partner/spouse, or friendship. There is nothing worse than betrayal by the one person you thought you could rely on.
Patience and kindness.
Because?
Throughout our lives our patience will be tried by a host of things as well as people, especially elderly friends or relatives in poor health. It costs nothing to be kind.
If you don’t have something nice to say about someone, keep quiet.
Well said Di.
Thank you!
You’re welcome
You are a wise woman! That keeping quiet when there’s nothing good you have to say is a tough habit to learn. I’ve never bested it yet, but I’m trying to be more compassionate towards myself when I do it, because in some ways I can’t help it I suppose. Practice makes perfect. 😉 Wonderful traits you chose!
Thanks Melanie.
Very sound choices and I like the way you bundled some attributes.
Thanks Fandango.
I love your choices. It costs nothing to be kind and the rewards are wonderful.
Thanks Lauren.
