The sun is up and shining, but it’s still pretty cold outside.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you all. My carnations in the window still have plenty of life in them, and read on as I confess to celebrating a little early!
I need to eat more chocolate! I was extremely naughty yesterday and demolished almost an entire (albeit small) box of Lindt salted caramels. Hubby had a couple too, but paid for it with reflux. However, when we got on the scales this morning, I’d lost two and a half pounds and Hubby had lost a pound and a half. The plan is now to nail the scales to that friendly part of the floor.
Off shopping this morning having done a small washload which is on the rads and will dry during the day. Lunch is not decided as we may have it out, but we are expecting our Covid test kits to arrive sometime this afternoon so we may bring something in.
With the expected charge for them to be implemented, Hubby and I ordered one each from the NHS website just in case. We are still being vigilant, and masks are now a part of our outdoor wear.
Other than that, a quiet day is on the cards.
