Today is Thursday 10th February

The month is in double figures already and ticking away.
The day here is dry and chilly, but the sun is shining so still quite mild.
Once again the forecast is for colder weather, if not snow, over the next few days so I’m glad I’ve got my appointments today.

I’m on my second cup of tea and beginning to feel more human. There is nothing like the very first sip of the very first cuppa of the day and I can appreciate that many people feel that way about coffee. This could well be me in a former life.
We have been spending the last few afternoons watching the Resident Evil movies having purchased all 6 films in a collection pack for £15. The first three were really good but the next one (which we’ll watch this afternoon all being well) was a little confusing and the one after that even more so from what we can remember. I don’t think we bought the final one though so it will be interesting to see how it all concludes. Maybe our next ‘series’ will be Underworld or The Hunger Games.

Not much else going on at the moment, so only a short post today.
Have a good day and keep safe everyone.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Just brewed my 2nd pot of coffee for the day. My coffee mug holds 2 cups of coffee, typical morning I will slam 4 of those down before heading out the door. Your weather sounds a lot like ours currently. there is a bite in the air. We still have a little snow on the ground at the moment, guessing it will be all gone next week. They’re talking 40 degrees F. Catching up on blog posts before heading out to the shop (building some bee keeping stuff/ trying to stay ahead of the rush.)

Hope that having watched the previous movies in quick succession the next one is less jumbled.

  3. Shall we start calling you Mrs. Potts? Lol. I don’t know if you can get it anywhere but on Netflix but the series Sense 8 is phenomenol. (I have tried to spell that word about six times and can’t get it right!)
