Just testing (again)

Today has been one of those days when we appear to have been busy but not actually accomplished very much.
Hubby kindly pushed the hoover this morning while I was having my shower and I got breakfast while he was having his.
The weather was so lovely, we washed everything, pegging it firmly on the line with at least four pegs per item and heavy duty clamps on the duvet cover which was trying to take off.
It has dried beautifully, and I don’t think you can beat the smell of air dried linens. No wonder I missed our washing line when we were on the boat!

We had our walk into town, but it would appear that the basic puffed wheat is not as common place as we thought so we shall have to look further afield. Saying that, we had a lovely walk back along the prom, and although we saw quite a few dogs, obviously the smell of shower gel didn’t appeal as I only had two fixes, one from a Yorkshire terrier and the other from a spanish mastiff.

We have had two visitors today so our meal times have both been late, hence we are up later than normal so that things have a change to settle down before we retire.
I’ve been catching up with my blog and thought I’d do this post in the block editor.
Typing isn’t too bad, but finding my tags or categories and inserting ‘continue reading’ eludes me.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Keep on using the block editor and you’ll get used to it.

Yikes! As I was reading I had a building fear that Block editor was again being foisted on us. It was a relief that you were just giving it a try! I agree that air dried on the line linens are the best!
