Melanie of Sparksfromacombustiblemind is our lovely hostess for Share Your World.
Here are her questions for this week:

What is one topic you love to talk about?

Suppose there was a magical wizard standing right in front of you and you could turn your life into anything you wanted, what would you do? ‘  For example:What, who, where, why? ‘  (Short explanation:  Suspend disbelief and suppose for a moment that you COULD turn your life into anything you wanted it to be.)

For as long as I can remember, all I ever wanted was to be loved.
I am actually happy with my life as it is now as I have my wish:
I have a partner to share my life with, one who loves me without bounds. Why would I want anything else?

(This one has been asked before in various ways)
Could you adjust to life without any internet?
This means the net has theoretically failed and there’s no cyber connection any longer.  Things have gone back to the old ways of land-line telephones (because cells don’t work without the ‘Net) and hand written letters.  Paper newspapers and magazines.  Hard bound books.  Having to actually do finances with ledgers, paper and pen or pencil.  There are a myriad of things the internet brings with it that I think we’ve all gotten so used to that we now take them for granted.   The Millennials and generations after them don’t know the ‘old ways’ at all really in my opinion.
Apart from missing all my blogging friends, the thought of going back to ‘old school ways’ does not worry me. In many respects, I would actually welcome it. I already do old fashioned accounting, prefer books to screens, write letters to my friends and only having a land line would mean I am uncontactable when out, so where’s the problem? We adjust!!

What do you think is unique about the human ‘animal’ (homo sapien)?

Humans are the only ones who shaft each for a percentage!

GRATITUDE SECTION  (As always, optional)

Share some encouraging words that you’d say to someone who was feeling down.
“Little things are important. Don’t make a big deal out of things that don’t matter.”

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    Great answers Di.

  4. Thank you so much Di, for Sharing Your World! The gratitude meme is gorgeous! You seem to find the most beautiful ones…thank you! 😀 You are indeed blest to have found ‘the one’. It restores my faith that they exist. You guys are so fun to watch (via post of stalkers here 😄 ) and you obviously both love each other a lot! Rare. You and I share ‘the topic’, but I would have said “books” because that’s what I seem to end up yammering about. Ziggy is present most of the time and adds his two cents of course, and gets full attention from whomever I’m talking to. He is a very sociable little dog! How does your search go? I’m hopeful for you! They are magnificent creatures! Have a fantastic week!

    • The gratitude this week was actually my own from a while back.
I used to read a lot but not so much now, so maybe my second topic would have been budgets.
No new pup on the horizon yet, but I followed up with a breeder today. Nothing doing just now but two bitches due to come into season and he hopes to ‘catch’ one.
Ziggy is a sweetheart. They are such good company.
