Three Things Challenge #855

Welcome to my daily Three Things Challenge.
Below are three words that may, or may not, be related. Simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you.
You can use one, two or all three in your post, there are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.
Remember to tag your responses with 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC and you can also add my logo if you wish. I’ve done a variety for this year so I hope you like them.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post, then leave your link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly. While you’re there, why not check out some of the other contributions too.

I schedule the challenge to go out around 6.00 am UK time, but pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately. This could be because I’m late accessing my blog or due to time differences, but I will get there, I promise!
I look forward to reading your responses, and as always thank you all for your continued support.

Your three words today are:
QUICKEN
QUIT
QUILT

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. I need to quit buying fabric. According to Quicken, I should have 6 months of income set aside in the bank for emergencies. I keep buying quilt fabrics for future projects. Perhaps I should save now, and quilt later.

  2. Chris Hall says:

Fiona flung back the quilt and stumbled into the bathroom to perform perfunctory ablutions. She pulled on smartish clothes, downed a too hot coffee and hurried from the house. Quickening her step, a smile spread across her face. Today was the day she was going to quit the tedium of the 9 to 5; today was going to be the first day of the rest of her life.โœˆ๏ธ
    Back again later, Di! ๐Ÿ˜‰
