Today is Friday 14th January

It’s some unearthly hour called 7am and it’s dark outside.
We’re up early as Hubby has an emergency INR this morning following severe pain in his right leg and he’s not taking any chances. Being on warfarin, he should not get any DVTs, but we know it’s still possible as this happened in February 2018 after a long journey both in distance and time to go to Mum’s funeral. We had to leave the wake early and ended up in A&E as he was in so much pain. Bournemouth was a waste of time as after three hours he still hadn’t been seen so we made our way back to MOH who was putting us up and looking after Maggie for the day, and were in the RUH in Bath at 7am the following morning. Diagnosis after scans and ultrasounds confirmed he had a DVT so you can appreciate our concerns now.

We will couple our visit with getting new windscreen wipers for the car in readiness for the MOT next week and a few odds and ends in the grocery line. Then later today we will begin shopping around for a new telephone/broadband package as our existing one is due to expire in March.

Hope your day is off to a good start. I still feel half asleep ! Keep safe everyone.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I do hope there isn’t any clot! The searching of a new provider is a double no good unfun chore! Hope you are successful!

    • Hi Val. No clot and his INR is right where it’s supposed to be. As for a new provider, we shall give our existing company a call first and see what they can do for us that’s in line with my budget.
