When Frank turned on the TV that night and saw the lead story on the late news, he knew that he would have to move on as it wouldn’t be long before the authorities caught up with him.
He had managed to stay ahead of the game for almost a year, but his last dalliance had cost hm dearly, not only in monetary terms, but his anonymity. The stupid girl had decided to help herself from his wallet and found more than she bargained for.
He was not a violent man and had left her unconscious and tied up in the motel room as he made his escape. He’d had to dump the latest car and a push bike was not exactly the best of getaway vehicles, but it was sufficient to put distance between him and the motel before she’d been found.
Changing his appearance wasn’t easy as he was already clean shaven and had short hair, so a colour would have to do for now and the joke of wearing glasses he didn’t need.
Thinking on a tangent, he decided the bike could be beneficial and so became a water gypsy using the last of his cash to buy a small thirty footer. Setting off along the waterways, hopefully it was something his ex wife wouldn’t think of him doing as she continued to chase him for alimony.

Nice
Thanks

Some people are better off not being in our lives. LOL
I second that Lauren.
I hope that Frank doesn’t end up becoming one of your neighbors.
We did have one boating couple we thought had a story, but we never found out. It was all very strange and what they were saying contradictory.
Somehow his antics point to the reason he has an ex-wife! At least he isn’t a murderer!!
I thought about going that way, but it got a bit complicated!!
